The ALF Locking Pulley is a uniquely designed locking pulley system combining an inertia reel/speed sensitive locking system into a specially developed grooved pulley wheel. Originally developed for the Challenge Course industry which needed a simple mechanical method of protecting multiple climbers en route around a ropes course, the ALF provides clear advantages in height safety and rescue scenario providing a climb assist system for workers on towers and masts, wind turbines and construction.
The ALF Locking Pulley uses AS/NZS 4142.3 or EN 1891 compliant 11mm static rope and can be easily and quickly rigged by a competent person.
