Here’s a brief introduction to who we are.
For the past 14 years Pete’s life has revolved around guiding and adventuring in the outdoors. Pete has enjoyed the outdoors everywhere from guiding school groups through the cave systems, gorges and rapids of the Ardeche River in Southern France to teaching snowboarding in Saas Fee, Switzerland.
Closer to home, Pete jumps at any opportunity to be out and about, from leading multi-pitch climbs in the Glass House Mountains to guiding sea kayaking expeditions in the Whitsundays. What a way to make a living!
As a qualified guide, Pete continues to work in the outdoor education industry, on a casual basis, assisting local schools in providing high quality outdoor education experiences for their students.
If Pete doesn’t answer his phone it is probably because he is out and about instructing, so please send an email and he’ll get back to you ASAP. It’s industry know how that makes it easy for us to keep our finger on the pulse!
An avid adventurer, Lesley’s free time has always involved getting outdoors whether it be hiking, rock climbing, paddling or nature photography.
After catching the ‘travel bug’ in 2008, Lesley found herself rock climbing in Arco, Italy, snow camping on glaciers in France and hiking ridgelines in Austria. Where next?!
With her passion for the outdoors it wasn’t a surprise that Lesley traded the ‘traditional’ classroom for an outdoor education centre, where her classroom is now the great outdoors. She enjoys the challenge of teaching climbing, canoeing, hiking and navigating whilst leading students through expeditions.
When you’re out and about every week – rain, hail or shine – you quickly learn to appreciate the value of quality gear!
