For the customised McMillan, we took the One Planet classic and adapted it to make it more suitable for long programs for students.
The adjustable back length allows for growth throughout the year, while an easily reached map-case pocket was added. We also removed the attachment loops and cords that weren't absolutely necessary - no point giving the kids more things to break!
One of the original Aiking designs, the McMillan is a simple, single-compartment rucksack.
The Custom version has got all that you need, and there’s not much that can go wrong. The Exact Fit harness gives comfort and adjustability even when the pack is filled to its 80 litre capacity. Waterloc canvas fabric and canvas binding give the pack its strength and water resistance, while the pockets and attachment points allow strategic easy access. Also incorporates two water bottle pockets.
