One Planet Outdoor Education Synthetic sleeping bag a.k.a. OESB -2 and OESB -5. One Planet Industrial synthetic sleeping bags are robust, warm, easily maintained and effective even when damp.
We offer two versions: the -2 deg C is a sensible choice for warmer climates, whilst the -5 deg C is designed for three season use below the snow line. Both versions have been tested to meet EN13537, the European standard for sleeping bag temperature ratings. For winter Alpine trips we recommend our industrial down sleeping bags.
OESB represents excellent value and may well be handed on down the line within your family.
All One Planet synthetic bags use Thermolink, our new fabulous fill. This gives a massive 15 per cent increase in warmth when tested to the European standard, meaning we can make our bags 200-300 grams lighter. Thermolink is bonded fibre, with the fibre blanket linked throughout its thickness. This makes it strong and elimates the need for sewn-through stitching, as well as the accompanying heat loss. The synthetic range is made in China due to manufacturing constraints in the Melbourne factory.
